HOW DOES SOMEONE GET IN IDt?

  • The inmate has to apply via letter to get admitted to IDt. Our address is at the bottom of the page.
  • The county jails and judges are familiar with IDt’s programme and make recommendations to particular inmates. Family members can recommend it to an inmate.
  • 2-3 Interviews are conducted to make sure that there is a good possibility for a match
  • Court requirements and restrictions must be observed

Residential Commitments

  •  A commitment to seek a relationship with staff and to attend all accountability, discipleship,

            one-on-one and IDt service meetings.

  •   A commitment to keep the program rules to the completion of the program and to obey staff.
  • A commitment to deal with all the root problems in your life and to personally seek out answers for your problems under the guidance of your assigned Pastor or Mentor.
  •   A commitment to fully participate in all work assignments you are given, above and beyond what is asked of you.
  •   A commitment to participate, attend and complete any additional counseling or programs deemed needed by     probation, court system or IDt staff.
  •   A commitment, if needed, to start and continue or finish a GED or Diploma program
  •  A commitment to volunteer drug testing when asked by IDt staff or probation.
  •   A commitment to sign and comply with the Financial Commitment and Incentive Program. 
  •  Parents will attend and complete any classes offered or recommended by IDt Staff
  •   A commitment to complete work release, residential, and transition per court time modification.  The commitment date starts at the Orientation date. Orientation will happen at last 48 hours upon arrival at IDt.
