IDt is an eighteen to thirty-six month, faith-based residential program. This includes but is not limited to an 18-month residential phase, followed by an 18-month transition phase. IDt’s mission is to repair self-destructive behaviors such as drug and alcohol abuse, physical and mental abuse, getting to the root causes of addiction, and nurturing troubled and broken men into wholeness.
Founder Eric Lashbrook, and his wife Donna, had a vision early on to fulfill God’s dream for the individual and family. They set out to help young men, to be there with them through the court systems, and build a home for these men to grow into who God called them to be, breaking the cycle of crime, courts, and detention many have faced. IDt gives these men hope, enabling them to find a vital relationship with Jesus Christ, and help in bringing restoration to their broken families.
Indiana Dream Team has been making a difference in men's lives as they find the hope they longed for. IDt has been serving the community and surrounding areas for over 20 years. What makes this different than a "rehab" or "detox" center? It requires true commitment. IDt offers a place for yourself or a loved one that not only offers true life change but restoration and a growing relationship with Jesus.
Indiana Dream team's approach to the challenges faced with the men who come into our program is based on our core values. We believe that keeping each individual resident accountable to the court system, to themselves, and to their families is vital to their success upon graduating from our program. During their time at IDt, each resident learns what it is to server others, appreciate the opportunity that has been given them, and discipling them through classes, daily devotionals, and hands on work.
Each resident is given a stable place of employment and the opportunity to learn stewardship of personal finances, and building a work ethic that they can take with them when they leave IDt. It is our staff's goal that each resident is shown through example what it is to live in unity and integrity, giving each resident a vision of a stable life outside of this program.
Our classes are an important part of helping our residents grow.
These are just the few of our classes that help the men grow, spiritually, emotionally, and physically here at IDt. We appreciate the prayers for these men as they study and learn to become a better son, brother, husband, father, employee so, when they graduate from IDt, they will be better equipped to serve God, family, and their community.
